Sheikh Laeeq Ahmed's maternal family and my paternal family are the same; in this way, we share a close familial bond. In his memoirs, he has beautifully gathered his family background and the memories of his childhood and youth. Alongside these, he has also included practical insights on moving forward in life, the difficulties he encountered, and the ways he confronted them. The account of migrations and settling in foreign lands is also part of this narrative.
